Looking after our forests

Memorial Benches' parent company Classic Teak is proud to announce that our customers can be confident that the benches they purchase have the gold mark of accreditations when it comes to protecting our forests. Being FSC certified ensures our timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests, minimising the damages to the environment. Indeed our FSC Recycled 100% Teak is reclaimed from buildings in the Far East, meaning no further felling is required for our benches made from this timber.

This month we featured in our first editorial in the British Institute of Furniture Directors magazine: "The Journal". The editor, Colin Liddell, visited our team at the factory in Hartlepool to see us in action and have a good look at our furniture. His report states we produce the best benches he has ever seen.
